Beginner
For new players developing their game.
- Generally playing for less than 18 months
- Plays casually or around once per week
- Basic understanding of rules and positioning
- Able to maintain short rallies
- Limited competitive experience
Player category 03
Intermediate
For regular and developing players.
- Generally one to three years of experience
- Plays approximately once or twice per week
- Some match, league or tournament experience
- Moderate shot consistency
- Developing teamwork and positional play
Player category 04
Advanced
For experienced and competitive players.
- Generally three or more years of regular play
- Plays frequently
- Strong competitive experience
- Consistent serves, volleys, lobs and smashes
- Advanced tactical understanding and court movement
Important
- Both players should register in the category that reflects their true playing level.
- Teams will be vetted by IFR Events and the appointed padel coaches.
- IFR Events may move a team to a more appropriate category.
- Prizes may vary according to category level.
